Anaheim, CA (July 26, 2006) Cryotech International, Inc., a leader in cryogenic transfer systems, announced today that they have updated their Department of Transportation (DOT) license (KO 35) for their Anaheim plant. The update was required due to the change in ownership of Cryotech Incorporated.

The Department of Transportation requires that anyone doing repair and rebuild on DOT 4L cylinders be licensed to do so. An outside organization performs the audit in order to attain the license. The auditors reviewed Cryotech’s certification of welders, procedures, quality assurance manual and general work processes to make sure employees are trained, tested and certified.

“At Cryotech, our ASME certified welders combined with their over 50 years combined experience allow us to offer customers state of the art diagnosis and repair of a wide range of cryogenic systems,” stated Jim Crane, Operations Manager for Anaheim. “Our goal is not just the quick fix, but quality workmanship with attention to detail. When serviced equipment leaves our hands you are assured of like new performance. The DOT certification will help assure our customers of this attention to detail.”
